Real Madrid has officially announced that Lucas Vázquez will leave the club due to the end of his contract.
The defender's official farewell ceremony will take place on July 17 at the Real Madrid Ciudad training ground, with the participation of club president Florentino Pérez.
Vázquez joined the Madrid club in 2007, at the age of 16. He has been playing for the first team since 2015, during which time he has played 402 games and won 23 titles, including 5 Champions Leagues.
Real Madrid has called him "the greatest legend", highlighting his hard work, humility, and winning spirit.
