Marca reports that Former Barcelona defender Dani Alves could receive around 20,000 euros in compensation for his time in pre-trial detention.
According to the source, the Brazilian footballer could file a claim for compensation for the 405 days he spent in custody after the Supreme Court overturned his preliminary ruling in a rape case.
It is reported that Alves intends to sue Mexican club Pumas for 2 million euros for early termination of his employment contract as if he were acquitted, and the agreement would be considered unlawful.
Alves was previously sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for sexual assault.
