Lamine Yamal sets new record

In the second leg of the UEFA Nations League quarterfinal between Spain and the Netherlands, home team winger Lamine Yamal scored a goal and set a tournament record. Lamine became the youngest goal scorer in the tournament's history. At the time of the match, the Spaniard was 17 years and 258 days old. The record previously belonged to Yamal's compatriot and teammate Gavi. He scored a goal at the age of 17 years and 304 days.

The home team won on penalties (3:3, 5:4 on penalties) and advanced to the tournament's semi-finals. The Spanish national team is currently the champion of the UEFA Nations League. In the previous tournament, they defeated the Croatian national team.
