Real Madrid and France forward Kylian Mbappe has surpassed Brazilian Ronaldo in goals scored in his first season with the Madrid club.
The 26-year-old Frenchman scored twice in the 17th and 23rd minutes against Villarreal in the 28th round of La Liga. These strikes were Mbappe's 30th and 31st in all competitions this season. In the race for the top scorers, he is close to Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski.
Currently, Mbappe has 20 goals; the Polish player has 21.
The signing of the contract between Mbappe and Real Madrid was officially announced on June 3. The striker joined the Spanish giants as a free agent. Before that, the striker played for the French club PSG.
