The Armenian Rapid Chess Championship, organized by the Chess Federation of Armenia in memory of Ashot Anastasyan, took place at the Chess Academy of Armenia. Grandmaster Aram Hakobyan was the champion, scoring 6 points out of 7 possible.
Grandmasters Shant Sargsyan, Zaven Andriasyan, Hayk Martirosyan, and International Master Robert Piliposyan scored 5.5 points. Shant Sargsyan became the vice-champion in the additional indicators, and Zaven Andriasyan completed the top three. Robert Piliposyan took 4th place, and Hayk Martirosyan took 5th place.
International Master Ashot Nadanyan showed the best result among veterans, and Women's International Master Susanna Gaboyan showed the best result in the women's competition.
Volodya Torosyan showed the best result in the competition for juniors under 16 years of age. Chessify also established special awards (1-3 places, best result for women, under-18 youth, and best result for veterans). Robert Piliposyan showed the best result in the under-18 youth competition.
