Indian grandmaster Gukesh Dommaraju won the title of world chess champion.
In the 14th game of the World Chess Championship held in Singapore, he defeated the Chinese Ding Liren.
The game, in which Dommaraju was playing with black pieces, ended after the 58th move.
The final score of the tournament is 7.5 to 6.5 in favor of Dommaraju.
The Indian grandmaster is 18 and became the youngest classical chess world champion.
Dommaraju is the 18th world champion and the second Indian champion after Viswanathan Anand.
Remember that the Chinese Dean Liren won the chess crown last year, defeating the Russian Yan Nepomnyashchi in a tie-break.
