Ancelotti will also play Militao in Carvajal's position

The Athletic reports that Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti intends to move center-back Eder Militao to the right back after Daniel Carvajal's serious injury, which could keep him out for up to 12 months.

Ancelotti had hoped to strengthen the right-back position during the winter transfer window, but if that doesn't happen, he intends to use Militao and Lucas Vazquez. Earlier, it became known that "Real" was not looking for a replacement for Carvajal, as it fully trusted Vasquez.

Militao already has experience playing on the right side of the defense, playing that position in "Sao Paulo" and "Porto," and also played on the correct side several times in "Real."
