The Minister of Sports of Spain condemned the riots during the Madrid derby between "Atletico" and "Real."
The match (1:1) in the 8th round of La Liga was stopped in the second half after Atletico fans started throwing objects at Thibaut Courtois. The pause lasted more than 15 minutes.
"When the details that will be provided to us by the security bodies become known, a decisive answer will be given.
These events tarnished the excellent image of Spanish football and our fans. They contradict sports values entirely.
" The clubs and the federation should take measures to prevent something like this from happening again," said Pilar Alegría, the Spanish Minister of Sports.
