In the opening round of the League of Nations, the national football team of Armenia competed against the national team of Latvia at the "Republican" stadium named after Vazgen Sargsyan.
Vahan Bichakhchyan scored in the 6th minute, but the Latvian national team scored the return goal 3 minutes later. In the 35th minute, Latvian national team defender Kaspars Dubra scored an own goal. The teams went to the break with a score of 2:1.
After the break, the Armenian national team could capture the opponent's goal several times, but only two attacks ended effectively. Lukas Selarayan and Eduard Spertsyan scored the goals. Petrakov's students won with a score of 4:1.
