The goalkeeper of the Georgian national team is close to a transfer to "Liverpool."

"Liverpool" has reached a personal agreement with the Georgian goalkeeper of "Valencia" Giorgi Mamardashvili. Famous journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano reports this.

According to the source, the negotiations between "Valencia" and "Liverpool" regarding Giorgi's transfer continue; there is still no agreement between the parties. Remember that earlier, information was spread that the people of Merseyside could pay about 30 million euros for Mamardashvili. At Euro-2024, Giorgi Mamardashvili made 30 saves, almost repeating the record of the former goalkeeper of the Russian national team, Igor Akinfeev, who made 32 saves at the European Championship in 2008.

The player's contract with the Spanish club is scheduled until the summer of 2027. In the last season, the goalkeeper played 32 matches, 12 of which he played dry.
