On August 11, the official closing ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games was held at the Stade de France stadium in Paris.
The ceremony was attended by American actor Tom Cruise, who descended from the stadium's roof and handed the Olympic flag to the mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass. The next Olympic Games will take place in Los Angeles in 2028. The ceremony is scheduled for July 14, 2028.
Artur Aleksanyan presented Armenia at the closing ceremony.
