Today, on August 6, Greco-Roman wrestlers Malkhas Amoyan and Artur Aleksanyan from Armenia will compete in the Olympic Games in Paris.
Both wrestlers will start from the 1/8 finals. Amoyan's first opponent in the 77 kg weight class will be Fin Jonni Sarkkinen, and Aleksanyan will try to overcome South Korean Kim Jong-Shin's ban in the 97 kg weight class. The preliminary matches will start at 13:00 Yerevan time.
It should be noted that another Armenian athlete, Hayk Mnatsakanyan, will compete in the 77 kg weight category, representing Bulgaria, and will compete with Sanan Suleimanov, representing Azerbaijan, in the 1/8 final round.
