Olivier Giroud will end his career in the French national team after Euro 2024.
"I will miss playing in the national team, but my time is running out. We have to give way to young people," said the "Milan" striker.
37-year-old Giroud has been playing in the French national team since 2011. He played 131 matches for the national team, scoring 57 goals (a record).
The forward won the 2018 World Cup in Russia with the "Tricolors." The team also won the League of Nations (2021) and was a silver medalist in the Qatar National Championship 2022 and the home Euro 2016.
