Xavi did not like the chants about Joan Laporta from Barca fans.
The head coach of "Blaugrana" spoke about this after the match with "Rayo Vallecano" of La Liga.
The Barcelona president was reported to have decided to end his partnership with the manager at the end of the season following his statements about the club's financial situation, although the boss announced on April 25 that Xavi was staying. "I don't like it when the club representative is whistled or something bad is sung about him. It is unpleasant. I am grateful to the fans who sing songs about me and chant my name. The stands have always respected me, and I am very grateful to them for that."
Xavi said about chanting, "Xavi yes, Laporta no."
"I don't like it. That's not what I'm looking for. I always look for unity, consensus, and interaction, so I wouldn't say I liked that. I don't like it when someone is attacked; it's unpleasant. I want everyone to be happy. They chant my name, and I feel respect, but I didn't like those songs," Xavi said.
