Thomas Tuchel and "Bayern" discussed the option of continuing the cooperation.
Earlier, it became known that the Munich club wants Tuchel to remain head coach.
According to "Bild," the contract is the main detail to be agreed upon with the parties. Bayern want the manager to work out his current deal, which expires in 2025, with Thomas demanding a contract extension.
Munich reportedly recently paid large sums of money as a penalty to fired coaches and wants to avoid such expenses in the future. However, the club may have to sign a new contract to convince Tuchel.
A final decision is expected this weekend.
