The Sambo Federation of Armenia reports that Mayis Nersisyan was declared the European champion of Sambo at a ceremony in Novi Sad, Serbia.
In the finals of the 64 kg weight category of combat sambo, Nersisyan celebrated a crushing victory with a score of 11:00 over Yevgeny Mikhno from Belarus and became a gold medalist.
