Britain is worried about the security of the opening of the Paris Olympics

Andy Anson, chief executive of the British Olympic Association, said fan safety was a key issue at the Paris Olympics.

"That's one of the most important things we must manage from a risk perspective. We would be naive not to think about it. Our number one priority is the safety of all athletes, our environment, and fans," Anson said, according to Inside the Games.

Anson also shared concerns that, usually, the opening ceremony takes place in the city's main stadium, and this time, all the athletes will float along the Seine in 160 trucks. This makes athletes more vulnerable to various attacks.

French President Emmanuel Macron said earlier that the games would be moved indoors if necessary.
