The 2024 Paralympics Championship of Armenia was recently held on the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports initiative of the Republic of Armenia and the Federation of Disabled Sports of Armenia. More than 65 athletes from Yerevan and the regions of the Republic of Armenia participated.
The championship participants performed in different classifications in 16 weight categories, with right and left hands.
According to Sargis Stepanyan, President of the Disabled Sports Federation of Armenia, the championship has gathered a competitive team. It was conducted according to the regulations of the International Federation.
Athletes who performed the best in the Armenian championship will be included in the Armenian para-ball team, which will compete in the European para-ball championship, which will be held in Slovenia from May 2 to 12.
Armenian athletes will also hold training sessions shortly to prepare for the European Championship.
