The Spanish and Brazilian national team players published a "historical photo."
Spain's and Brazil's teams will meet on March 26 in Madrid. The friendly match will be dedicated to the fight against racism and brutality in football.
Ahead of the match, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) released a photo of Nico Williams, Vinicius Junior, Lamin Yamal, and Rodrigo with the caption "historic photo."
"Football, at least that's how it should be understood, is a union. Taking competition as a natural thing, sport should be understood as a way to strengthen bonds between people, regardless of their background.
That's why the Spain-Brazil match, already a great game, will have a global impact as both countries unite to fight against racism, which must be eradicated because the only color that sets us apart in football is the color of the jersey.
"One skin" is the motto behind organizing this friendly match, in which both teams and all their members participate. On the eve of the game, in close cooperation between the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the Brazilian Football Confederation, a historic photo session featuring Nico Williams, Lamin Yamal, Vinicius, and Rodrigo took place at the Santiago Bernabeu, an ideal location for such an important match," the RFEF said in a statement.
