Armenian gymnasts start the fight in the second round of the World Cup

The Armenian gymnastics team will take part in the second round of the World Cup in Cottbus, Germany, on February 22-25.

The Armenian team includes Arthur Davtyan, Harutyun Merdinyan, Vahagn Davtyan, Arthur Avetisyan, and Gagik Khachikyan.

It should be noted that earlier, Armenian gymnasts won 1 gold and 1 silver medal in the first round of the World Cup held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.

World and European champion and Olympic bronze medalist Artur Davtyan was awarded the title of winner. Davtyan was unmatched in the vault, scoring 14.933 points in the final.

Gymnast Vahagn Davtyan also won a silver medal at the World Cup in Cairo. In the rings exercise final, the Armenian athlete scored 14,500 points and took second place.

The World Cup rounds are a ranking for the 33rd Summer Olympics in Paris.
