At the end of 2023, the Football Federation of Armenia elected a president. During these years, FFA had 6 presidents.
The governing body of Armenian football, the FFA, was founded on January 17, 1992. The federation became a member of FIFA on July 3, 1992, and a full member of UEFA on January 17, 1993.

The first president of the FFA was Nikolay Ghazaryan. He managed the FFA from 1992 to 1994. Ghazaryan was a striker for Yerevan "Ararat," a master of sports, in 1973. USSR Cup winner and championship gold medalist.
Armenak Sargsyan: He managed FFA from 1994 to 1998. Sargsyan was a defender of "Ararat," a master of sports, the 1973 USSR Cup winner, and the gold medalist of the championship.
Suren Abrahamyan: He held the position of FFA president from 1998 to 2002. Abrahamyan is the Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General, and was the Mayor of Yerevan from 1998 to 1999.
Ruben Hayrapetyan was the longest-serving president of the FFA, from 2002 to 2018. Hayrapetyan was the district head of Avan in 1996–1999 and a member of the National Assembly in 2003-2012.
Arthur Vanetsyan: Vanetsyan led the FFA from 2018 to 2019 as the head of the RA National Security Service. Vanetsyan has held various positions in the NSS for many years, and in 2018-19 was the director of the NSS. In 2021, he was elected a member of the National Assembly as part of the "I have honor" bloc, and in 2022, he resigned his mandate.
Armen Melikbekyan: He has been leading the FFA since 2019. On December 23, 2023, he was re-elected as the president of the FFA. Earlier, Melikbekyan was a sports journalist; in 2005-2008, he was the deputy director of the FFA; in 2018-2019, he was the general secretary of the FFA.
