"Manchester City" agreed on the transfer of 17-year-old "River Plate" midfielder Claudio Echeverri. The Guardian reports.
According to the source, "City" is ready to pay 25 million euros for the Argentine, thus bypassing "Barcelona" in the struggle to sign a contract with Echeverri. After the deal, the midfielder will stay at River Plate on loan for another year. The player's contract with "City" is for five years.
It should be noted that Echeveri is a student of "River Plate"; after the academy, he moved to the central team. The player's contract with the club is scheduled until December 2024.
