Samvel Siramargyan competed with the boxer representing Poland in the 70 kg weight category of the World Junior Boxing Championship in Yerevan.
Unfortunately, our athlete was defeated in a tense fight and became the vice-champion of the Junior World Championship. We finished the competition day with one gold and two silver medals. Earlier, Aren Kharatyan won a silver medal in the 52 kg category, and Vagharshak Keyan, the two-time European champion in the 48 kg category, won the champion title.
On December 4, Heghine Petrosyan (48 kg), Arno Darchinyan (46 kg), Tigran Hovsepyan (50 kg), Andranik Martirosyan (60 kg), Argishti Hakobyan (66 kg) and Albert Harutyunyan (75 kg) will compete for gold medals.
