The World Youth Weightlifting Championship has ended in Guadalajara. Garik Karapetyan, representative of Gyumri Olympic Shift Sports College, personal trainer Aleksan Karapetyan, became the gold medalist with a result of 378 kg.
In the snatch exercise, Garik won a small gold medal with a result of 175 kg, and he also won the same in the push exercise with a result of 203 kg. Karapetyan won a gold medal with a result of 378 kg.
It should be noted that the Armenian national team won two more gold medals at the World Youth Weightlifting Championship. Earlier, Alexandra Grigoryan (55 kg) and Gor Sahakyan (67 kg) climbed to the top of the podium.
