The Chess Federation will hold qualifying tournaments for the World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship
From November 9 to 11, the qualifying tournaments of the FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship, organized by the Armenian Chess Federation, will be held at the Chess Academy of Armenia.
The rapid chess tournament will be held from November 9 to 10, with nine rounds. The blitz chess tournament will be held on November 11 with 9 rounds. Quick chess schedule: 15 minutes until the end of the game, with 10-second increments for each move.
Blitz Chess Time: 3 minutes until the end of the game, with 2 seconds added for each move. Chess players with at least the 1st rank can participate in the tournament.
The participants who will take the first and second places due to the sum of the two tournaments go to the next stage. Participants who took 1st to 3rd place in the tournament and showed one unranked best result will be awarded special prizes.
