After the victory over Latvia (4:0) in the selection match, Vincenzo Montella evaluated the event of the Turkish national team qualifying for the final round of Euro 2024:
"I am very proud of my team's performance. I am also proud of myself. I am the first foreign coach to bring the Turkish national team to the Euro.
"Right now, I'm probably the happiest coach in the world," Montella said.
