Turkey will host the European football championship for the first time. UEFA has announced today the countries that will host the 2028 and 2032 European Football Championships.
Thus, the organizers of EURO-2028 were Great Britain and Ireland, and four years later, the European Championship will be held by Turkey and Italy.
Turkey has applied to host major football events more than once before but never became their organizer.
