Eden Hazard finished his football career at the age of 32.
"You must listen to yourself and say 'stop' at the right moment." After 16 years and over 700 games, I ended my professional football career.
I have fulfilled my dream and played and enjoyed in many stadiums worldwide. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to meet some excellent coaches, members of the coaching staff, and teammates. Thank you all for these beautiful times. I will miss you all.
I would also like to thank the clubs I played for, Lille, Chelsea, and Real Madrid, and the Belgian Football Federation for inviting me to the team.
Special thanks to my family, friends, counselors, and people who have been there for me through good times and bad. Finally, thank you so much to my fans who have followed me for your support wherever I've performed.
It's an excellent time to enjoy the company of loved ones and get new impressions. We will meet soon outside the field, friends," Azar wrote.
It should be noted that Eden Hazard started his professional career in Lille in 2007 and moved to Chelsea in 2012. His last club was "Real," which the Belgian played in 2019-2023.
During his career, Hazard won 15 trophies. He became the champion of England and Spain twice, won the French championship once, won the Champions League, and won the Europa League twice.
The former midfielder participated in 126 matches as part of the Belgian national team and became the bronze medalist of the 2018 World Cup.
