97 kg Artur Aleksanyan reached the finals of the Greco-Roman World Championship in Belgrade and secured a ticket to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

In the semi-finals, Aleksanyan won 9:0 over Lithuania's representative Mindaugas Venskaitis.
