Elmira Karapetyan, a member of the Armenian shooting team, won a gold medal in the 10 m pistol shooting World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, the capital of Brazil. Collecting 236.6 points in the final of the 60-shot competition.
Benik Khlghatyan also represents Armenia in this tournament. It should be noted that Elmira Karapetyan is still the only Armenian participant in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
