Forward Kylian Mbappe has given up contract bonuses to return to PSG, reports One Football concerning L'Équipe.
According to the source, the attacker refused the loyalty bonus, which amounts to 100 million euros. That convinced PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi that Mbappe should be allowed back into the team.
Moreover, it is noted that this transaction is informal and is considered as a gentleman's agreement.
Earlier, Mbappe announced that he will not renew his contract with PSG and is ready to leave the club during the summer transfer window. Because of this, he was dropped from PSG's pre-season training camp. However, Mbappe later changed his decision and started negotiations with the French club.
