In the final, 51 kg Hayk Alaberkyan did not give the Azerbaijani athlete a chance even with an injury and won with a score of 5:0. Ruslan Aslikyan, 57 kg weight, also celebrated a confident victory, who gained an advantage over the representative of Venezuela, in the final.
Vladimir Markaryan's students celebrated impressive victories before the finals and against quite strong athletes. Another Armenian boxer, 80 kg Hamlet Harutyunyan, won a bronze medal.
