The appeal of "Juventus" was rejected. The champion of the 2005/06 season is "Inter."

An appeal to return Juventus' 2005/06 championship title has been rejected. On Monday, the Italian State Council rejected another attempt by the Bianconeri to challenge the decision to strip the team of the 2006 Italian championship title.

Juventus filed a complaint against the Italian Football Federation, Inter, and the Italian Olympic Committee. The title was finally confirmed as "Inter."

It should be noted that "Juventus" finished the 2005/06 season with a record 91 points in the championship. Still, due to their participation in the corruption scandal in Italian football, known as "Calcopoli," they were disqualified, deprived of the title, and moved to Serie B. Inter Milan was declared champion.
