European Youth Olympic Festival. Armenian gymnasts are third in the team competition
At the European Youth Olympic Festival in Maribor, Slovenia, the Armenian youth gymnastics team took third place in the team competition, having collected 156,500 points.
The Armenian national team includes Hamlet Manukyan, Mamikon Khachatryan, and Robert Gylumyan. They act under the leadership of Hayk Nazaryan.
It should also be noted that Armenian gymnasts qualified for the finals in individual exercises. In particular, Hamlet Manukyan made it to the barbell and ring exercises finals. Mamikon Khachatryan also qualified for the finals in the trapeze exercise, and Robert Gylumyan reached the finals in free training.
Cyclists Ani Gyozalyan, Alen Mirzoyan, and Harutyun Israelyan; swimmers Anahit Muradyan and Samvel Karapetyan; athletes Sofia Javakhyan, Vahe Arzumanyan; judokas Mher Ohanyan, Razmik Galstyan, Arsen Badalyan, Andrey Andreyan, Hayk Darbinyan, and Seyran Sarukhanyan, Suzanna Manukyan; tennis players Sofi Gidachyan, Lilit Antonyan, Davit Poghosyan, Mikayel Avanesyan, and gymnast Marieta Buchakhchyan are also participating in the European Youth Olympic Festival.
The European Youth Olympic Festival will last until July 29.
