Chelsea is preparing for a new record; nobles want to earn 325 million euros from the summer transfer window
Chelsea plans to carry out a large-scale renewal of the team after the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino.
After the arrival of the new head coach, the club intends to reduce the staff, which exceeded 30 after the previous two transfer windows. Daily Mail writes that the club foresees more than ten players leaving the team.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, Edouard Mendy, and Callum Hudson-Odoi are expected to leave Chelsea. The future of Kalidou Koulibaly, Cesar Azpilicueta, and N'Golo Kante remains questioned.
Various clubs are interested in Mateo Kovacic, Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Mason Mount, who Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal want, could also leave Chelsea, but Pochettino would like him to stay.
Chelsea spent 259.5 million pounds (about 300 million euros) on those players. The club wants to earn about 280 million pounds (almost 325 million euros) for them.
In addition, more than 20 Chelsea players are currently on loan at other clubs. The Londoners intend to reduce their number, so they prefer to carry out complete transfers in the summer.
Joao Feliz and Denis Zakaria returned to Atletico and Juventus respectively. The nobles will not buy their transfer rights.
