3 Armenian chess players in the top 100 of FIDE

FIDE has published the updated world chess ranking table.

There are three chess players in the top 100 of the world's best chess players. Gabriel Sargsyan ranks 42nd with 2692 points, Hayk Martirosyan ranks 61st with 2675 points, and Hrant Melkumyan ranks 92nd with 2650 points.

Playing under the US flag, Levon Aronian took 11th place in the rating with 2745 points.

The top 100 of the world's best chess players are led by the Norwegian grandmaster, former world champion Magnus Carlsen (2853 points).
