On the 5th day of competition of the European Weightlifting Championship in Yerevan, Armenia has one representative. 81 kg Rafael Harutyunyan will compete for medals from the Armenian weightlifting men's team. The competition will start at 20:00.
One of Armenia's representatives, Isabella Yailyan, won the bronze medal with a result of 196 kg (87+109) in the 55 kg weight category of women's sub-group A. He won miniature bronze medals in push and pull.
In the 67 kg weight category, Gor Sahakyan won a gold medal in the European Championship with a result of 320 kg in the double event (145+175 kilograms). Gor also won miniature gold medals in the snatch and push exercises.
