Three members of the Armenian gymnastics team made it to the finals of the European Championship in Antalya, Turkey.
Artur Davtyan, world and European champion, bronze medalist of the Tokyo Olympics, and two-time world cup winner, reached the finals in the all-around, pole vault, and pole vault. Vahagn Davtyan and Artur Avetisyan also qualified for the final in rings.
European champion Harutyun Merdinyan and young gymnast Gagik Khachikyan also participated in the European Championship as part of the Armenian national team, who needed help to overcome the barrier of the qualifying round in the pole vault and all-around.
The Armenian team is led by coaches Sos Sargsyan and Hayk Nazaryan. Hakob Serobyan and Artur Gyurjinyan are included in the refereeing team of the European Championship.
The finals of the European Championship will take place on April 15 and 16.

Hamlet Manukyan became a two-time winner of the World Youth Championship as part of the Armenian national team in the pole vault and rings. Mamikon Khachatryan, the other representative of Armenia, won the silver medal in the championship due to the weightlifting exercise.
In the team calculation, the Armenian team took 4th place.
