The leaders of Bayern could not call Julian Nagelsmann to inform him about the dismissal.
It should be noted that Oliver Kahn, the general director of Bavaria, said before the game of Dortmund with "Borussia" (4:2) that Julian was the first to know about his dismissal. Later, Sport 360, who represent Nagelsmann, said this was not true, as they had to contact Bayern's sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic after reports of the 35-year-old's imminent departure appeared in the media—the news.
According to the Daily Mail, referring to the German Bild, the leaders of Bayern tried to contact Nagelsmann first. On the evening of March 23, Bild reporters learned that Nagelsmann was facing imminent resignation and got his representatives to break the news. The coach's representatives replied that they had not heard anything about it.
Later, the sources of the Munich club said that the management tried to contact Nagelsmann that day, but the coach, who was vacationing in a ski resort in Austria, did not answer the calls.
That evening, however, Bayern representatives called Nagelsmann and told him to return to Germany and meet with Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic. The next day, the 35-year-old specialist was personally informed about his dismissal.
