Karen Khachanov, the Armenian tennis player representing Russia, reached the quarterfinals of the ATP-1000 tournament in Miami. In the third round, the Armenian tennis player defeated the third-ranked player in the world, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The tennis match lasted 1 hour 34 minutes and ended with Khachanov's victory in two sets: 7:6 (7:4), 6:4. Karen Khachanov will challenge the winner of the pair Francisco Cerúndolo (Argentina) - Lorenzo Sonego (Italy) for the semi-final ticket.
Let's emphasize that the confrontation between Khachanov and Tsitsipas is fundamental for the Armenian tennis player because the Greek tennis player won 6 out of 7 matches, and Khachanov won only one.
