Gianni Infantino, the current president of FIFA, was re-elected to the position of president. The elections were held at the FIFA congress held in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
Infantino was the only candidate in the elections. He was elected without a vote by the FIFA statutes. 56-year-old Infantino has been the head of FIFA since 2016.
