Weightlifter Greta Vardanyan represented Armenia from Gyumri (coach: Artak Nersisyan) at the Para Powerlifting World Cup held in Dubai, UAE, where 243 athletes from 40 countries gathered. Greta competed in the weight category up to 55 kg.
The Armenian sportswoman successfully performed all the approaches, lifting the 85, 90 and 93 kg barbells and winning the champion title. He also won a gold medal in the summation of lifted weights.
