Official; Luis Enrique has been dismissed from the position of head coach of the Spanish national team
The Royal Spanish Football Federation dismissed "Furia Roja" head coach Luis Enrique from his position.
The Spanish Football Federation press service wrote, "We sincerely wish Luis Enrique and his staff the best of luck in their future professional endeavors. This coach has earned the love and admiration of the entire federation."
Luis Enrique first led the Spanish national team from July 2018 to March 2019. In March 2019, Enrique left the position of head coach of "Furia Roja" for personal reasons. During that time, the specialist was briefly replaced by his assistant Roberto Moreno, after which Enrique returned to his position, which he has been holding until now.
In the 2022 World Cup, the Spanish national team reached the 1/8 finals, losing to the Moroccan national team in the penalty shootout.
