The Armenian Boxing Federation reports that Armenia celebrated its first victory in the World Youth Boxing Championship in Spain. Alik Hovhannisyan, 75 kg, won the opening fight against Slovenian Luka Pasic.
From the first round, our athlete fought a competitive fight and surpassed his opponent in all competitions. In the 2nd round, Hovhannisyan even knocked down the Slovenian. As a result, all referees unanimously awarded the victory to the Armenian boxer with a score of 5:0.
