On October 9, the draw for the qualifying round of the UEFA European Championship 2024 will occur in the German city of Frankfurt.
The official FFA website reports that the 53 countries participating in the qualifying round will be divided into 10 groups (7 groups with 5 teams each and 3 groups with 6 participants). They will compete for 23 tickets to the final group stage of EURO 2024. Germany will participate in the group stage of EURO 2024 as the host country of the championship.

The groups' first and second-ranked teams will win a ticket to EURO 2024. The remaining three places will be played in the play-off stage due to the 2022 Nations League draw.
According to the decision of the UEFA Executive Committee, as a result of the draw, the national teams of Armenia and Azerbaijan cannot be included in the same group.
The matches of the qualifying round will be held in March-November 2023. The European Championship will take place from June 14 to July 14, 2024.
