In the team calculation, the Armenian boxing team is the first in Europe
The Armenian youth boxing team finished the European Championship with a brilliant result. Under the leadership of Ashik Grigoryan, our national team won 5 medals in Italy, two of which were of the highest honor.
Vagharshak Keyan, a student of the Hamlet Paturyan sports school with a weight of 46 kg, and Eric Arstamyan from Artsakh with a weight of 52 kilograms, stood on the top step of the honor platform. The chief doctor of the tournament did not allow Yeranos Ohanyan, who reached the finals with a weight of 70 kg, to participate in the finals due to an injury, and our athlete was awarded a silver medal.
Two more boxers representing Armenia - 50 kg Davit Safaryan and 60 kg Rafael Nersisyan - won bronze medals. In the boys' competition, the Armenian team is the first.
