Armenian weightlifters won 7 medals at the European Youth and U15 Championships.

Armenia's youth and U15 weightlifting teams performed successfully at the European Championship held in Poland, winning 5 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal due to a duel fight.
On the penultimate day of the competition, 81 kg Emma Poghosyan won the European junior champion with a result of 206 kg. The 16-year-old sportswoman ripped the 91 kg barbell, winning a small silver medal, and pushed the 115 kg barbell, winning a small gold medal.
Ashot Margaryan, weighing 96 kg, was the last of the representatives of Armenia to take the stage and became the bronze medalist with a result of 287 kg (159+128) in the two-fight event. Margaryan also took third place in the push-up exercise, receiving a small bronze medal (159 kg).
