"What will happen if the leader of Armenia takes an aggressive tone towards Azerbaijan?"
Short answer: nothing good.
The long answer is yes; many inside the country will be happy and get moral satisfaction. But this will only legitimize Azerbaijan's non-negotiation with us and its more aggressive behavior towards Armenia.
And legitimacy is precisely what Azerbaijan lacks now to attack Syunik. If suddenly Azerbaijan was able to show the world that Armenia had aggressive intentions, it would attack Syunik without delay.
Yes, Azerbaijan is aggressive towards us and has no peaceful intentions. But if the world suddenly doubts our peaceful intentions, we will lose political support, which is why Azerbaijan is not attacking Armenia now.
Azerbaijan's diplomacy has tried and is trying to "feed" the world that Armenia is not a victim but an aggressive country where "terrorist groups like AOS" operate, thereby (so far in vain) preparing the ground for aggression against us.
If the authorities of our country start speaking aggressively, it will only help that line of Baku."
