"Ukraine will become a member of NATO". announced Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the alliance. "Allies agree that Ukraine should become a member of NATO. During the NATO-Ukraine meeting, we will agree on proposals for reforms in the country, as we continue to support Kyiv on the path to NATO membership," Stoltenberg noted. "Nevertheless, all allies agree that full membership is still impossible in the conditions of war, even if the ways to bring Ukraine and NATO closer together continue," he added.
This month, Germany and the Netherlands pledged 10 billion euros to Ukraine. Romania allocated an F16 fighter training center for Ukrainian pilots. Allies, including the US and Finland, are sending more air defenses and other munitions to protect Ukrainian cities from Russian attacks.
