Davit Khazhakyan, a former candidate for mayor of Yerevan and a former member of the Council of Elders, wrote on his Facebook page.
"Regardless that I will not be represented in the Yerevan Council of Elders, the issues and proposals I raised since 2017 remain relevant.
I have decided to continue monitoring the activities of the Yerevan Municipality in the same way as I did as a member of the opposition council of elders. For me, solutions to urban problems are a priority, so I will address those whose activities do not follow this logic, regardless of the power and who will implement it.
I will be your municipal ombudsman."
